Representatives of the Penza Oblast are taking part in the 20th International Hospitality and Tourism Exhibition-Forum Intourmarket 2025.
The delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Ildar Mavlyudov, includes officials from Penza’s Department of Culture, the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after Belinsky, and the Penza Tourist Information Center.
For three days in Nizhny Novgorod, participants from 60 Russian regions and guests from friendly nations will showcase their tourism development projects. The exhibition serves as a meeting point for industry experts across the country and a platform for discussing key trends in the sector.
"The National Tourism and Hospitality Industry Project was launched in 2021. We introduced modular hotel construction programs, preferential support for major hotels, and initiatives to develop tourist attractions. With the launch of the renewed national project Tourism and Hospitality, we are preserving the progress made over the years while continuing ongoing transformations. Regions are now preparing new projects, and we are ready to support them. Tourist demand is growing, and it is essential that the industry can respond with high-quality offerings—something that is only possible through our collective efforts," said Russian Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov in his opening remarks.
The exhibition will feature over 120 educational and entertainment events for visitors. Additionally, the Intourmarket stands will highlight destinations for active and educational tourism, with a special focus on opportunities for children and youth travel.
The forum's business program includes conferences, roundtables, and sessions covering innovative approaches to tourism promotion, strategies for guides and tour operators, the use of digital technologies in the hospitality industry, and other key topics.
