A total of 491 students from 83 Russian regions took part in the final stage of the All-Russian School Biology Olympiad, held at the federal territory "Sirius".
Penza Oblast was represented by 8th-grade students from the Gubernsky Lyceum, Timur and Ruslan Salimov.
The Olympiad’s final round consisted of two stages, testing participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Tasks covered plant morphology, invertebrate zoology, histology, cytology, and ecology.
Following the competition, Timur and Ruslan Salimov were awarded diplomas as prize-winners of the Olympiad’s final stage.
Winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad’s final round are eligible for admission without entrance exams to state-funded university programs in relevant fields.
