During a working trip to Serdobsk, Governor Oleg Melnichenko inspected several socially significant facilities in the city.
The Governor visited the Family Multifunctional Center, opened last fall as part of a pilot project to stimulate birth rates. In the first six months of 2025, the center has provided services to 429 families raising 1,032 children. Of these, 41 families have fully overcome difficult life situations, while work continues with the rest. The center also focuses on supporting young families, large families, and families of participants in the special military operation.
"We provide comprehensive support until the person's issue is completely resolved," explained center staff.
Melnichenko also toured the production facility of "Prekab-SK," which assembles wiring systems for the automotive industry. The company produces over 270 types of components supplied to major manufacturers like KAMAZ, Technotron, NEFAZ, and URAL. Total investments in the project exceeded 224 million rubles.
Local residents noted significant improvements in the city in recent years.
"We're working together," emphasized the Governor. "We've created new jobs, launched production facilities. We're repairing roads, sidewalks, and improving Serdobsk's urban environment."
The Governor inspected the ongoing construction of a smart sports ground at School No. 1, being built under the federal project "Business Sprint (I Choose Sports)." The project is 40% complete and scheduled for completion by month's end.
Melnichenko also reviewed the reconstructed sewer collector on Bykov Street, where complete pipe replacement was performed under the federal "Modernization of Utility Infrastructure" project.
"We will continue working on Serdobsk's development. The city is transforming, and we'll keep making positive changes," Melnichenko concluded. "Much has been accomplished, but there's more ahead: schools needing renovation, parks awaiting improvement. We need to bring all transport arteries up to standard and renovate courtyards. We've been working for three years, but our plan is for five."
