The Znanie Society has announced the interim results of the Znanie.Igra tournament, which involves over 250 teams from universities, schools, and colleges. The team “Pallada” from Penza Oblast ranked among the top ten in the category “School Students and College Students”. Other top teams include representatives from Kirov, Vologda, Moscow, Orenburg, and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, as well as the Donetsk People’s Republic and Perm Krai. Currently, 27 university teams and 223 school and college teams from across Russia are competing for a place in the finals.
For school and college students, qualifying games are held every Wednesday. A total of 23 online sessions are planned. Based on the results, an overall ranking will be formed, and the best teams will be invited to the grand final in Moscow. Winners of special regional rounds will also join the competition. The grand final is scheduled for May 2026.
Qualifying games for university students are held on Fridays, with 25 online sessions planned. A ranking will be compiled from the results, determining the finalist teams.
“The quiz format has once again become part of the Znanie.Igra tournament and immediately brought together teams from a wide range of regions and educational institutions. For the participants, this is an excellent opportunity not only to test their knowledge of facts but also to tackle riddles, charades, and logic puzzles, where the ability to think outside the box is crucial. We invite all school students, college students, and university students to join the tournament—every team has a chance to enter the overall ranking and compete for a place in the finals!” noted Dmitry Rybalchenko, First Deputy General Director of the Russian Society Znanie.
The tournament is ongoing, and anyone interested can participate. Teams need to register for the qualifying games on the Znanie website.
