The events will take place from October 20-23 in Tashkent at the branch of the A. I. Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University.
"Our goal is to introduce new technologies used in Russian education to attract youth to study natural sciences, and to share information about opportunities for studying in Russian, including at Russian universities," said Aleksandr Moiseyev, Head of the Mathematics and Physics Department at PenzGTU. "We actively cooperate with the Republic of Uzbekistan within the 'Education Export' project and have extensive experience in teaching Uzbek students at all leading Penza universities."
Methodologists from PenzGTU and PSU are prepared to share knowledge with senior students from Uzbek schools through three educational programs: "Entertaining Physics," "Entertaining Mathematics," and "Entertaining Computer Science."
Attention will also be given to professional development. At least 30 subject teachers from the Republic of Uzbekistan will participate in programs for practical teaching of computer science and physics in the general secondary education system. The programs include familiarization with the application of artificial intelligence in education, methods for working with gifted children, development of interdisciplinary cases, and other innovative methods for teaching exact sciences.
The event is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo and Penza State Technological University.
