All-Russian Festival of Russian Cuisine Held in Penza
All-Russian Festival of Russian Cuisine Held in Penza
Society 05.11.2025
Penza residents were introduced to the richness of national gastronomic traditions at Yubileynaya Square.
Chairman of the Penza Oblast Government Nikolai Simonov conveyed the governor's greetings to festival participants and guests. "Representatives from all districts of the region have come to delight you with the most delicious dishes made from products produced on Penza soil," noted Nikolai Simonov. "Today you can experience not only Russian cuisine but also Tatar, Mordovian, and Chuvash culinary traditions. They have been carefully preserved for centuries by the peoples living harmoniously in our region."
The festival brought together chefs, farmers, and food producers. Each district of Penza Oblast presented its unique gastronomic traditions. The square showcased a variety of local products: cheeses and meat semi-finished products, sausages and delicacies, smoked goods and confectionery, bakery products and dairy items, and beekeeping products.
Beyond the gastronomic program, guests enjoyed a craft fair with works by local artisans and a concert program featuring performances by Penza folk ensembles.
