Penza State University, Penza Medical College, the Military Training Center named after Hero of the Soviet Union Colonel V.F. Shishkov, and Penza State Agrarian University have been included in the federal ranking of "Znaniye" lecture halls based on third-quarter results.
The ranking of top institutions considered several key parameters: number of events held, audience reach, and listener satisfaction levels.
"Identifying the best lecture halls is part of the Russian Znaniye Society's systematic work to support and motivate educational centers across the country that make significant contributions to youth education and cultural development," emphasized Georgiy Budny, Deputy Director General of the Russian Znaniye Society.
During November and December 2025, the top 100 venues will host meetings with leading Znaniye Society lecturers as part of the "Znaniye.Lecture Hall," "Znaniye.Heroes," and "Znaniye.Science" projects.
Background: Znaniye is the country's largest modern educational organization, annually conducting hundreds of youth events across Russia: organizing thousands of presentations by prominent figures from culture, art, science, and history; holding scientific competitions, contests, and quizzes; producing films; and helping lecturers nationwide reach their audiences.
Since its relaunch, the Znaniye Society's lecturer community has united over 30,000 people who have delivered more than 180,000 lectures across all 89 Russian regions. They have created 8,100 hours of educational content covering diverse topics including science, technology, space, culture and arts, history, medicine, sports, and others. Online broadcasts of Znaniye educational events and video content have accumulated over 2.3 billion views.
