Twenty-seven family teams from cities and districts of Penza Oblast have advanced to the semi-finals of the second season of the All-Russian competition "It's a Family Tradition." They will now compete for a place in the finals, scheduled to take place in Moscow in 2026.
The remote stage of the competition's second season saw participation from 2,165 families across Penza Oblast. Over four months, family teams completed 48 tasks spanning creative, culinary, sports, and intellectual challenges, with the final test being a quiz on Russian history and culture.
"The competition provides a unique opportunity not only to showcase talents but to truly experience the strength of family bonds. Each task represents a small step toward greater understanding between children, parents, and grandparents. It's also a chance to learn something new together about our country, its traditions, and heritage," shared Natalya Brykina, Head of the Department at the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Demography of Penza Oblast.
In 2025, the "It's a Family Tradition" competition became part of the national "Family" project. Winners will receive 60 certificates worth 5 million rubles each for housing improvement, while finalists will have the opportunity to embark on a family trip.
