Three projects from Penza have qualified for the finals of the International Russian Event Awards 2025 in event tourism. The events will take place from November 26-28 in Nizhny Novgorod.
A total of 473 applications from 63 Russian regions, the Republic of Belarus, and South Ossetia were submitted for the 2025 awards. The finals will feature 370 projects competing for victory across 40 specialized categories.
Penza Oblast will be represented in three nominations. The regional children's creativity festival-contest "Detki-Konfetki" from the working settlement of Bekovo will compete in the "Best Children's Tourism Event" category. "Kosovorotka Day" from Malaya Serdoba will contend for the title of best tourism event promoting folk arts and crafts. Additionally, the interregional family auto-tourism festival "Wedding Fest," whose route passes through Penza, is a finalist in the "Best Auto-Tourism Event" category.
These projects contribute to achieving the objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."
The Russian Event Awards 2025 final events will be held in Nizhny Novgorod. The business program, charity concert, and project presentations are scheduled for November 26-27 at the V Business Bay business center. The official awards ceremony for winners will take place on November 28 at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair pavilion.
