The Volga Federal District has finalized its evaluation of state youth policy and public project implementation for 2025 and outlined plans for the coming year.
Oleg Mashkovtsev, Deputy Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District, highlighted an increase in participants of district public projects: in 2025, they brought together nearly 523,000 young people, which is 138,000 more than in 2024.
According to the ranking of Volga Federal District regions' participation in public projects, Penza Oblast secured first place. The ranking considered delegation performance in projects, participant reach, public awareness of projects and opportunities, as well as competitions.
Reference: in 2026, participants in Volga Federal District public projects can anticipate:
– The "Turiada" district sports and tourism camp will maintain its international format with delegations from friendly countries, teams from the Central Federal District, and historical regions of our country, and will be dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia;
– The "iVolga" Volga Federal District Youth Forum will traditionally be held in Samara Oblast from July 24 to 31 in a tent camp format under the theme "Code of Russia: Unity in Diversity";
– The competitive program of the "MoloT" district project for working youth will be expanded, with its finals taking place in Perm Krai;
– The XI Russia-China "Volga-Yangtze" Youth Forum will be held in 2026 in Ulyanovsk, with participation from 300 distinguished student representatives (150 from each side);
– Finals of the Intellectual Olympiads will take place in March: Perm will host school students and secondary vocational students, while Saransk will host secondary vocational and university students;
– The "FormArt" Street Culture Festival will be dedicated to the unity of the peoples of Russia, with its district final gathering the best artists in Kirov in August.
