The main theme of the party forum "There is a Result!" held in Nizhny Novgorod was youth support.
Discussions focused on provisions of the "People's Program" concerning the creation of conditions for self-realization of children and adolescents, the development of educational and sports infrastructure, and the training of qualified personnel for enterprises.
The forum was attended by Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the Party's General Council; Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Igor Komarov, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District; and heads of regions of the Volga Federal District.
Representatives of patriotic associations, youth organizations, educators, students, and special military operation veterans were also invited.
It was noted that the party pays great attention to child development and youth support. Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, called this a strategic direction of the party's work.
"Exactly what our future generations grow up to be determines what our country will be like," he emphasized. "By investing efforts in their education and support, we are investing in the economy, science, society, and a strong and competitive Russia."
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that the regions of the Volga Federal District are actively using the tools of the national project "Youth and Children," improving sports and tourism infrastructure, and supporting SMO participants and their families.
"The series of forums is united under the title 'United Russia. There is a Result!' — and we truly have something to present. Thanks to the national project 'Youth and Children,' launched on the initiative of the President, a set of measures is in place to realize the potential of the younger generation. These include a large-scale program to create a constellation of world-class university campuses, the development of 'Professionalitet' colleges, youth laboratories, advanced engineering schools, and much more," he said.
The new "People's Program" is being formed based on the wishes of young people. "All regions pay great attention to working with youth. Every year, more than 500,000 young people participate in Volga Federal District projects alone. We see it as our task to continue developing these projects," stated the Presidential Envoy to the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov.
Commenting on his participation in the regional forum, Secretary of the regional branch of the party and member of the United Russia General Council Oleg Melnichenko noted that the results of the five-year "People's Program" in Penza Oblast had been summed up a few days earlier.
"Over the past 5 years, with the support of the head of state and United Russia, we have built 7 schools, one of which is the largest in the Volga Federal District, with 2,500 student places," Oleg Melnichenko informed. "We are currently building 2 schools in new neighborhoods of Penza with 1,100 and 550 places. We plan to commission them this year, ahead of schedule. We are working with an eye to the future."
Also, over 5 years, 7 kindergartens have been opened in the region. For the first time, with the support of the President and the United Russia party, 9 suburban camps were modernized. Additionally, 5,000 more spaces for children's recreation were created. The year-round camp "Meridian" was established, becoming a base for the "Tiger" police assistance unit.
"Under the national project, we renovated and equipped the Youth House with modern technology, creating a space for the 'Movement of the First,' student and volunteer units," the governor added. "There is a proposal for the party's new 'People's Program,' which we discussed with the head of the youth wing of United Russia, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Penza Oblast Anton Demidov. This is the development of a network of modern youth spaces in municipalities as hubs for attracting and realizing the potential of young people. We have successful experience with the Youth House and the 'Young Guard' youth space."
