The results of the All-Russian competition "Responsible Employment of Teenagers" were summed up during the X St. Petersburg International Labor Forum. The award ceremony for the winners concluded the session "Youth Employment as a Resource for Family Support." Discussion participants examined formats of interaction between employers and parents of employed teenagers, areas of activity for children with disabilities, issues of engaging families in difficult life situations, and the process of labor socialization.
"The competition is becoming increasingly popular among employers. If last year there were 58 applications for participation, this year there were 229 applications from 53 regions. State, commercial, and non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs, and the teenagers themselves are participating," clarified the competition's initiator, the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, in a video address to the participants.
Based on expert evaluations, the winner in the category "Best Program for Teenager Adaptation in the Workplace" was recognized as the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "Clinical Hospital No. 6 named after G.A. Zakharyin."
"Today's teenagers are the foundation of the economic development of regions in the immediate future. That is why it is important to give them the opportunity to realize themselves, contribute to the family budget, and feel independent and useful to society," noted Aleksey Kachan, Minister of Labor, Social Protection, and Demography of Penza Oblast.
The smooth and effective integration of youth into various sectors of the economy remains a key priority of the national project "Personnel."
