The International Children's Center "Artek" hosted one of the key events of the fourth shift – the festival "Mosaic of Russian Games." The event, aimed at strengthening friendly ties and promoting cultural heritage, brought together more than 3,500 schoolchildren from eight countries around the world. Among the participants of the shift are 20 gifted students from Penza Oblast.
The festival became a unique educational platform for children, allowing them to take an interactive journey to different corners of the planet. Through folk amusements, national dances, and creative workshops, the Artek students discovered the diversity of traditions: from classic Russian and Tatar games to distinctive Bashkir, Belarusian, and Uzbek customs.
A representative of our oblast, Elizaveta Smirnova, presented her original creation – a themed board game dedicated to the history and culture of Penza Oblast. Thanks to the original approach of the Penza schoolgirl, participants of the festival from other oblasts and countries were able to study the landmarks and memorable places of our oblast in an engaging way, which made an important contribution to promoting the oblast's image among young people.
