The governor drew particular attention to the interaction with potential investors during briefing on Monday, 26 March 2018.
The head of the region noted that this year Serdobsk became the area of priority social and economic development due to considerable efforts.
“The status of priority development area (PDA) should contribute to increasing investment prospects and creating new jobs. The residents of the city and Serdobsk district need this. We have good projects that are already being implemented. They include organising high-tech mushroom production, running a sewing enterprise, conducting research and development to create a range of axial- and radial-flow fans for the equipment installed in locomotives,” Ivan Belozertsev reported.
Particular attention is devoted to the large project of Technocord Company on constructing a plant for deep processing of wheat.
“Investment amounts to several billion roubles. The company’s management should understand that the establishment of PDA provides even more favourable conditions and brings substantial tax benefits,” the governor explained.
Ivan Belozertsev ordered to develop a plan of work with potential investors in 2018.
“We need a monthly work plan that will show what has been done, when the project will be implemented, what assistance is required from the government, what other proposals can be outlined for investors. Today we have opportunities. More efforts should be made,” he instructed.
The governor announced plans to establish an enterprise specialised in furniture accessories production.
“We invite an investor to this project. We have to do everything so that he could launch the project,” the head of the region stressed.
