A tae kwon do team from Penza region won 6 medals of various value at the All-Russian Competition “IX Belogorye Cup” in Belgorod.
The competition embraced 1000 tae kwon do fighters from 30 regions of Russia.
In the youngest group of athletes (children born in 2008-2009), three fighters from Penza won medals:
1st place – Sergey Kolosov;
3rd place – Maxim Bestuzhev;
3rd place – Polina Shirova.

Among juniors born in 2002-2004 weighing up to 59 kilos, the second spot of the podium was taken by Vladislav Serebryakov.
In the men group up to 68 kilos, the winner was Artyom Sysoev (coaches – A.Yu. Palatkin, D.A. Kuznetsov).
Among women weighing over 73 kilos, a bronze medal was awarded to Diana Shirshakova (coach – Gryaznova N.I.)
