The final match for the title of the best hockey team among Penza universities took place on Monday, March 16, 2020, in the Dizel-Arena sports and entertainment complex.
Representatives of the Penza State University and the Penza State University of Architecture and Construction met on ice. The winner according to the results of the shootout was the PSUAC team.
"Today we witnessed a great game and enjoyed it immensely," the head of the region thanked the players.
The Governor paid special attention to the empty stands.
"We played the game without fans to ensure safety and to prevent coronavirus diseases. But this did not make the meeting of the teams less bright and interesting," Ivan Belozertsev said.
"Today everyone was rooting for their team, but in general, we are all rooting for beautiful hockey. I want to remind that the strongest players from the winning teams will be part of our Penza team which will defend honour of the region on the second Cup of the plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in Volga Federal District", - the head of the region concluded.
