Valery Savin, acting deputy chairman of the Penza Oblast government, V. Afanasyev, Privolzhye football union president, S. Yurkin, head of the Kamensky district administration, and A. Kalashnikov, chairman of the Penza Oblast Football Federation, attended the final match of the Privolzhye football union Cup.
The game took place at the Dorozhnik stadium in Kamenka - that was the second leg of the final of the Privolzhye Cup, in which FC Dorozhnik met FC Khimik-Avgust (Vurnary settlement, Republic of Chuvashia). In accordance with the rules of the competition, the Privolzhye Cup winner is determined by the sum of 2 matches. The first match took place on October 14 and ended with a score of 1:0 for FC Dorozhnik.
The results of the Privolzhye championship showed that FC Dorozhnik won, and won the Privolzhye Cup (on the sum of two matches).
At the end of the meeting, the guests presented the players with well-deserved cups and medals, and then viewed the construction site of a new health and fitness complex in Kamenka.
To date, the work is nearing its final stage. The facility is planned to become a training ground primarily for pupils of children's and youth sports schools in Kamenka that develop the following sports: mini-football, soccer, volleyball, fitness aerobics, judo, boxing, rugby and archery. The complex will also become the first sports and entertainment venue in Kamenka for holding mass sports events of various levels.
The health and fitness complex is being built under an agreement to provide subsidies from the federal budget for financial support of the "Development of Fitness and Sports" state programme activities. The total cost of the facility's construction in accordance with the design and estimate documentation, which has been approved of by the state expertise, is more than 91 million rubles.
