As part of the "Sport Is the Norm of Life" regional project belonging to the "Demography" national project a sports ground has been created in Lunino. It is designed to prepare people to perform the requirements of the GTO all-Russian sports complex.
Now a real open-air gym is available for Lunino residents. The equipment complex includes exercise bikes, gymnastic equipment, weight training equipment, units for throwing the ball and much more. At any time of the year, people of different ages will be able to train and prepare for passing the GTO standards.
"I am very glad that our district has created comfortable conditions for physical education. It's a pleasure to train here. Now every day before or after a run I come here to warm up – that's very convenient. I think that now there will be even more people who want to pass the GTO standards, I am sure that the site will help prepare to pass," said sports veteran Boris Maystrovich.
The sports ground is available to everyone who wants to improve their physical condition. It can host sports events and holidays, as well as physical education classes.
Let us remind you that as part of the "Sport Is the Norm of Life" regional project of the "Demography" national project such sports facilities has been created in six municipalities of the Penza Oblast.
