The competition was held in the city of Suzdal from March 12 to 14, with about 250 sportsmen from different countries competing for medals.
At the championship, Maria Kostrigina, Vityaz sports school student, won silver in duels in the weight category over 70 kg.
Artur Khachatryan, a pupil of Zarechny integrated sports school, won a medal in kata.
At the championship children from the Penza Oblast won four medals of various denominations:
1st place - Yevgeny Larionov, Vityaz Olympic Reserve school, weight category up to 50 kg;
1st place - Eldar Voronkov (kata), Integrated Olympic Reserve school, Zarechny;
2nd place - Yegor Samarov (kata), Integrated Olympic Reserve school, Zarechny;
3rd place - Vadim Rodionov, (pound-for-pound), Bolshoi Vyas.
