In Khanty-Mansiysk, the winter "We are together.Sports" games have finished, with athletes from Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Armenia and Kazakhstan participating.
Russian paralympians won 106 awards (39 gold, 40 silver and 27 bronze medals) and topped the medal standings.
The Russian team achieved a lot thanks to every team member, including Ivan Tsaplin, the Penza Oblast native, biathlete. Now he represents Moscow, but he was born and grew up in Kuznetsk. In the sprint race among men standing Ivan was in the top five.
The second place in the medal standings was taken by the national team of Belarus, which has 16 medals (5 gold, 2 silver and 9 bronze ones). The third place was taken by athletes from Armenia, whose representatives won one gold medal.
