Perm has held the Russian championship in rock climbing (speed climbing) where boys and girls in three age categories competed for medals. Penza sportsmen also took part and won several awards.
Yelizaveta Grishina won her first Russian championship award - a silver medal in the junior category.
Mikhail Martynov (junior category) also won silver at the end of the final race.
Veronika Lisitskaya won a bronze medal among girls aged 16-17 beating Veronika Bumina from the Perm Oblast.
Nikita Dementyev competed among boys aged 16-17, but, unfortunately, he lost a step away from the medal, making a false start in the race for the bronze.
