The Russian triathlon championship was held in St. Petersburg. The athletes of the Penza Oblast won in the category of "juniors 18-19 years old". The best result was shown by Victoria Shishkina, Angelina Yankina, and Karolina Lisitskaya. Victoria and Angelina are pupils of the Olympic water sports school, Karolina is an athlete of the Olympic sports college.
In the category "girls 15-17 years old", the team of the Penza Oblast again rose to the podium. Athletes of the regional sports school Anastasia Noskova, Anastasia Savelyeva, and Anastasia Pavlova, a pupil of the sports college, took second place.
In the category of "juniors up to 23 years old" athletes of the Olympic sports school Arina Blyasova, Alina Malysheva, and Maria Sherstneva won silver.
