The Penza region team won the XI Spartakiad of Russian students in rugby-7. The final of the competition was held in Krymsk. Penza athletes gained the upper hand in a stubborn fight against the Krasnodar Territory team. The match ended with a score of 19:7.
During the two days of the final competitions, the Penza team did not suffer a single defeat.
