Maria Arisova Got Bronze of Russian Boxing Championship

Maria Arisova, an athlete from the Penza Oblast, won a medal of the Russian championship for the first time in the history of Penza women's boxing. Maria became the bronze medalist in the 75 kg weight category. She had two bouts, in the first one, she defeated a representative of the Ivanovo Oblast, in the second fight she lost to an athlete from the Krasnodar Krai.
Maria assessed her performance positively.
"Everything went very well. The main goal is completed. I joined the Russian national team. We have been preparing for this tournament since the summer, and now we are waiting for training camps and new tournaments. We will continue to work," the girl said.
Maria is a student of the Nikolskaya sports school, an athlete of the Penza Olympic sports school, and a student of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of PSU. Her coaches are Mikhail Andreyev and Farkhod Abdullayev.
The Russian Boxing Championship was held in Krasnodar from October 16 to 22. 174 athletes from 49 regions of the country competed for medals.
