From October 28 to October 30, 2022, an international judo tournament among boys and girls born in 2006-2007 was held in the city of Balakovo, Saratov Oblast. Students of the Integrated Olympic Sports School won several medals.
Dmitry Mitrofanov took the 3rd place in the 46 kg weight category.
In the 50 kg weight category, Kamil Lyapin took 1st place, Nikita Ivakin took 2nd place. In the 60 kg weight category, Ilya Alyoshechkin won gold. Rushan Dashkin became the bronze medalist in the 66 kg weight category.
The athletes are coached by Vasily Klimov.
In total, about 250 athletes from the city of Uralsk (Republic of Kazakhstan), Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Penza and Saratov Oblasts competed for medals.
