From March 26 to April 1, Yekaterinburg hosted for the first time the international tournament "Legends Challenge Games". This is a unique multi-sport tournament in four gymnastic sports: artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatics, and aerobics.
The Penza Oblast was represented by the students of the N. A. Lavrova Penza Regional Gymnastics Sports School. Athletes from Penza showed their skills in artistic and rhythmic gymnastics tournaments.
Penza gymnast Evgeny Pashkin won three medals in gymnastics competitions. He took gold in the support jump, silver in rings and parallel bars. The athlete is coached by Aleksei Mamonov.
Athletes from 12 countries took part in the "Legends Challenge Games": Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Syria, and Uzbekistan.
