The Russian Diving Championship was held in Penza, and 191 athletes from 15 regions took part in the competition.
Athletes from the Penza Oblast performed successfully: students of Penza School of Olympic Sports won 19 various medals (two gold, thirteen silver and four bronze).
Miroslav Kiselyov took the first place in jumping from a three–meter springboard among boys aged 10-11, Yaromir Lukashin was second. Yaromir and Miroslav showed the same result on a one-meter springboard, and won gold and silver, respectively.
In tower jump Miroslav won silver, and Yaromir took bronze.
In the same age category, Kristina Shalyova won the bronze medal in tower jump.
Ivan Danishkin won silver among boys aged 12-13 in springboard dive, and Yaroslav Nekrasov was third.
Margarita Kuvshinova took 2nd place among 12–13-year-old girls. Margarita won two more silver medals (three-meter springboard and tower).
Timofey Salogayev took second place among boys aged 12-13 on the three-meter springboard. Timofey also won bronze in tower jump.
Among 8-9-year-old girls, Polina Yashina won bronze (one-meter springboard).
Miroslav Kiselyov and Timofey Salogayev won silver in synchronized jumping from a three-meter springboard.
Kirill Belavin and Miroslav Kiselyov took second place in synchronized tower dive.
