The final stage of the Russian Swimming Cup was held in Kazan from July 25 to 30. Penza Oblast athletes won 5 medals: 1 gold and 4 silver ones.
Aleksandr Kharlanov (Zarechny) won gold in the 200 m butterfly. The athlete is coached by Sergey Melnikov.
Yegor Pavlov (Penza) finished second. Yegor's coach is Natalia Abramova.
Another silver was won by Sergey Isayev (200 m complex swimming). Sergey is coached by Galina Dolgova and Larisa Chernyaeva.
Irina Krivonogova finished second in the 200 m and 400 m complex swimming. The athlete is coached by Igor Zubkov.
