From January 19 to January 21, 2024, the VFD Athletics Championship was held in Novocheboksarsk.
The athletes from the Penza Oblastachieved good results (11 medals).
Angelina Kosinkina became the champion of the district. She became first in the 60m run. She is coached by Roman and Kristina Krasnov.
Dmitry Zyuzin won two silver medals at the championship. He finished second in the 3000m and 2000m steeplechase. His coaches are Vitaly Averkin and Aleksey Voyevodin.
The bronze medal was won by Daria Stepanova at a distance of 3000m. Daria's coaches are Denis Bashkirtsev, Andrey Vinokurov and Svetlana Dubonosova.
Dmitry Selyankin showed the best result in the 200m distance among juniors under 23 years old. His coaches are Anna and Aleksey Gordeev.
Lilia Zaitseva became the winner among juniors under 20 years of age at a distance of 400m. Her coach is Andrey Zinukov.
Victoria Trifonova became first in the 400m run among girls under 18 years of age. Her coaches are Roman and Kristina Krasnov.
The silver medals of the championship were won by Albina Menyafova, Lilia Zaitseva and Gleb Kulikov.
Albina finished second in the 60m distance among juniors under 20 years old. Her coaches are Anna and Aleksey Gordeev.
Gleb Kulikov took second place in 3000m race among juniors under 23 years old. His coaches are Denis Bashkirtsev and Vladimir Andreyev.
Lilia became second in the 200m distance among juniors under 20 years old. Her coach is Andrey Zinukov.
The bronze medal of the championship among juniors under 20 years old was won by Yegor Yezhov in the 60 m race. His coaches are Roman and Kristina Krasnov.
The success of athletes in high–level competitions is an additional step towards popularizing sports and a healthy lifestyle, which is also a goal of the federal sports and health project.
