The second stage of the VI Summer Russian Youth Spartakiad in artistic gymnastics is being held at the Burtasy Sports Palace.
Nearly 200 athletes are competing, representing the republics of Mordovia, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, as well as Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Penza Oblasts, and Perm Krai.
After the first day of competitions, Penza’s junior team successfully advanced to the finals.
The second stage of the Spartakiad will continue until May 30.
The event is held as part of the implementation of the state program "Development of Physical Culture and Sports."
