The Football World Cup will be held in the Russian Federation for the first time. The event will unfold from 14 June to 15 July 2018. The matches will take place in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saransk, and Sochi.
Saransk will host the matches of the group stage: the national teams of Peru and Denmark will play on 16 June, the teams from Colombia and Japan will compete on 19 June, the teams of Iran and Portugal will meet on 25 June, and the national teams from Panama and Tunisia will play on 28 June.
The Host City Saransk Directorate for preparing and holding the 2018 FIFA World Cup posted video-guides for football fans. These guides are available at the official YouTube channel of the Government of the Penza region.
